The tornadoes and storms that struck Alabama led to the flooding of the Mississippi River, leaving immense damage and devastation. Leading sun care brand, Australian Gold decided to contribute to relief efforts by donating to the American Red Cross on Thursday May 12, 2011.
With thousands of people cleaning up their neighborhoods after the devastating tornadoes, the American Red Cross is pleased to be able to distribute sun care products donated by Australian Gold. Using the donated services of AAA Cooper Trucks, Australian Gold sent over 4 pallets of their SPF 70 Continuous Spray Sunscreen to help in the rebuilding effort in Alabama.
With sunscreen to protect workers and volunteers from the hot Alabama sun, the American Red Cross continues to restore the towns and help out the families affected by the disaster.
To offer your own assistance to the disaster in Alabama, donate at www.redcross.org and try one of Australian Gold’s newest launches, SPF Sheer Coverage Lotion Sunscreen, to obtain protection at home and continue support of a brand that has recognized the need for sun safety at all times.
Operation SonShine for Haiti
