The following link contains the testing reports for our Botanical SPF 30 Mineral Lotion. Our products are tested by a third-party, FDA-registered, GMP certified, and ISO 9001 accredited laboratory. That laboratory tests our products for compliance with “Broad Spectrum,” “Water Resistance,” and “SPF 30” standards in accordance with FDA testing requirements.  Also included are the test results for “ISO 24442”, a test that measures UVA protection, which is a required test for products sold in Europe but is not required by the FDA. I came across Australian Gold at one of my favorite beauty stores that I shop at and they were having a sale so I decided why not I'll give it a go! Little did I know at the time that I would not be able to live without it! I carry one in my car, one in my work vehicle, one in my purse, one in my bathroom, and an extra one in the pantry at home! I love how silky smooth my skin is when I put it on and it does not rub off on my clothes that's a huge plus for me and it actually works!!

This product is none irritating went on smooth with no white residue. And I feel I get the protection I need while out in the sun

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good For My Sensitive Skin Overall I really love this sunscreen. It is NOT greasy and does not make me break out like other products I have tried. I love the smell and the texture and the way it feels once it's on my face. My only issue is that it does dry white. My skin is too dark for it to be passable without something over it, and I don't typically wear foundation or bb cream. I will be taking it back to the Ulta where I bought it and exchanging it for the tinted version.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic sunscreen! I have been using Australian Gold products for years now, and always wanted a natural ingredient sunscreen. Australian Gold hit it way out of the park with this sunscreen. I absolutely love it! It goes on dry, does NOT give you that "white" look like other sunscreens with Zinc Oxide. It does not irritate my skin. I have rosecea and it does not bother it at all. I also have dry skin and it does not dry my skin out further like other sunscreens with Zinc Oxide have. This is a must have sunscreen. Bravo to Australian Gold.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It turned my skin purple I put this on while at the beach and I was already pretty tan so I didn’t want to get burnt. However, when I applied the sun screen my skin turned red with PURPLE undertones!! It looked like I had hypothermia!! Also, this sun screen did NOT come off my skin even after scrubbing it a lot in the shower. My skin was left feeling like latex, and one of my friends even said “it feels like someone put a rubber glove on your stomach”. I would give this one star, but I didn’t get burnt so I guess that’s a plus, but I would never buy this product again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from White residue My husband bought this because he hates the greasy feel of most sunscreens. Thought this would be better. So I decided to try it. It didn’t feel less greasy to either of us than most other sunscreens but it left a terrible white haze on my skin! This haze did not come off with a normal shower. I had to shower again and practically rub my skin raw to get the white off! It been two days and I still have remnants of it in the creases of my elbows! Will never put this on again!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not burn.... but WHITE ALL DAY I was very displeased with this product. It smells great, and rubs on well, which is nice. HOWEVER, my skin was WHITE all day long.. for hours. And when I got in the water, there was white, chalky residue on my skin that rubbed off in the water. I was excited to try the mineral based sunscreen, and maybe there is an expectation that you will have some white residue, but it was too much. If you're looking for a mineral based sunscreen that does not leave that white, chalky residue, look elsewhere.
